Mount Sulaiman-Too, towering in the center of the city of Osh, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In some historical and theological works, written sources and ancient manuscripts, it is mentioned that out of about 124 thousand prophets sent down by the Almighty in the entire history of mankind, 366 visited this mountain. Since time immemorial, Sulaiman-Too has been considered a sacred place, as evidenced by rock paintings in caves on the slopes of the mountain. At present, Sulaiman-Too is a historical and architectural complex, on the top and slopes of which there are many historical monuments of different eras: caves with ancient petroglyphs, the Takht-i Suleiman mosque, the Ravat Abdullakhan mosque, the Asaf ibn Burkhia Mausoleum, a historical museum with rich a collection of archaeological, ethnographic and zoological exhibits, etc. Almost each of these places is a unique ritual object, surrounded by a veil of mystery and legends.
